Georgia van Etten is a soul-blues songstress, based in London, originally hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Her refreshing creativity has wowed audiences globally and her songwriting has gained much attention since moving to the UK. With an impressive touring record for someone so young, she has played not only top venues in London and Australia, but major European festivals including Montreux Jazz, Jazz à Vienne and Porretta Soul. Georgia’s studies in jazz improvisation mixed with a country-blues upbringing creates a knock-out vocal tone and breathes new life into old standards. Together with internationally renowned trumpeter Quentin Collins, Georgia brings together some of London’s finest musicians including Artie Zaitz, Dave Whitford, Pat Levett and Jim Watson for an unmissable show.
